First of all I think 928's SUCK! You can send me email but I will still think they SUCK! But, they are still Porsche. When the 928 was released in 1977, it was a costly front-engined, V8-powered car. Although the 924 shared the layout of its mechanical components the 4.5 liter engine of the 928 was the first V8 from Porsche, and incorporated single overhead camshafts per cylinder bank. In 1979 Porsche released the new 928S which had a 4.6 liter engine. All production of the 928 ended in 1995.
